Who is Jimisola?
Am a singer, song writer, back up singer, dancer, content creator, performing artist and a civil servant that Hails from ilishan Remo born into the family of Mr Olusola Johnson Falaja and Mrs Victoria Tolulomo Falaja Nee Somefun.
My parents permanently reside in Sagamu where I was given birth to in the late 90’s.
What Got You into Music?
Well I would say at the early stage of my life I started as a dancer where I and my peer groups in the hood those days would storm any birthday party to dance thrill many people.
The major competition I won that shook the whole neighbourhood was the one that was held in the police barrack because it was very difficult for an outsider to come and outshine the police Barrack dancers, they are very rugged and too good to compete with back then and that point in time I was just too good for them to deny I was a winner. That competition taught me a lot lesson that what you put your mind at you can definitely achieve.
The rhym of sounds gave me inspiration and I must confess to you that it was my dad that really influenced the music in …

What Part of the Country are you from?
I said earlier on that am from Ilishan Remo Ogun State.
I use to stay in Sagamu with my parents for several years before I got an appointment with the federal government to work in Abuja that was how I relocated to FCT, Abuja.
How do you parent feel about you venturing into music?
Base on what my parents feel about me venturing into Music was like they were never suprise because My Dad use to be a chorister in the church at his home town St barnabars Anglican Church ilishan Remo and my Mum was a good vocalist in St Methodist Church also in her home town ilishan Remo. They are both from Ilishan Remo.
For my dad he loves education so it is a must to go to school even if you want venture into any career of your choice.
I heard you have an EP Coming ?
Yes I actually had an EP coming in my Dad’s name but at a point in my life I thought I wasn’t going to put out any music out there because when I lost my dad it was a lot of drama here and there.
I can remember very well while he was still alive he told me he wanted to invest and support my music career but he said I still need to further my studies abroad, I agreed if that will be terms and condition that will be involved lol.
Well they say life is full of ups and downs, you have to gather yourself up to prove to the world even though they are a lot challenges you are facing as a person, what does kill you makes you stronger.
To The glory of God have been on the project for like 5 to 6 months is just 6 tracks body of work.
Whats the Relationship between the EP, your Dad and the EP title?
The name “OLUSOLA” which is the title of the EP is the biological name of my Dad.
The meaning is God have wealth or Riches you can also term it like this God owns wealth or Riches and some will say God does wealth or Riches, it really applies in many ways so it big name.
When I started music officially omo olusola has been my signature to sign or sign out from any song so when I was putting out the body of work for the EP I thought this is an opportunity to give God the glory with the name and to idolize that name “OLUSOLA” is not just a mere name it is a special name which brings a lot of meaning to all pheres of life.
If you would date any other musician , who would it be and why ?
That’s a very interesting question to ask well I would say teniola and the reason is that I just like our personality apart from music side she has a lot to deliver from the comedy part and to the way she socialize with people.
She be complete package lol 😆
